Thrifting and creating a new home.

I have always had a strong affinity for small trinkets. Prior to 2020, I would occasionally go to Goodwill for tiny treasures. A few times I changed them up in simple DIY projects. Then of course you know what happened and I stopped going thrifting for about 3 years.

Two years ago, I moved into my first place. It was a house, the house I’m still in. I was excited to finally decorate my own space that wasn’t only a bedroom. In the past couple of years I’ve decorated and undecorated every room of this 3 bed 2 bath home. Nothing is ever set in stone, nor does it have to be when it comes to decorating something the way you want it.

While trying to find my style I started watch home decor Youtube. Some that I watched I had watched previously when they made crafts or DIY projects so I was familiar, at least a little, with their style. While watching these videos I wanted to emulate them quickly to make my house feel more like a home.

Fast forward to today and I’ve created this new blog to show my art, home decor diy, and kitchen creations.
